Special Opportunities For You

Grace Lay Eucharist Ministers (LEMs)

A very personally rewarding activity is Lay Eucharistic Ministry (LEM). It brings the Eucharistic Service to people who are not able to travel to Grace Church. With a little instruction, anyone can do this. AND it only requires your time approximately once every 6 weeks!! More if you like...

A LEM takes communion to shut-ins who would otherwise not receive this sacrament.

If you are interested in learning more about this very important ministry, please see Deacon Colleen. You can email her by clicking this line.

Daily Bread

Gerhardt's Bakery, in town, gives us their day old bread. We pick it up daily, bag it and freeze it for use at St. Paul's or to sell and raise monies for the hunger ministry.

We need help picking up day old bread at Gerhardt's and bagging it. This takes about 1/2 hour each morning from Tuesday through Saturday to pick up the bread, bag it and place it in the freezer in the Parish House basement. You need not volunteer for every day... Any help is greatly appreciated.

We also need help delivering bread to St. Paul's kitchen on Sunday Morning.

If you can help, please call the office or email: office@gracehaddon.org

Thanks for your faithful support!
