Sunday School   Adult Education   Nursery and Children's Activities

This past summer, the instruction for Summer Sunday School was about the 10 Commandments. With the age of the children the wording was simplified but each week they learned 1 or 2 of the Commandments and what they meant. I don’t expect them to recite them but hope that some hit home and some got “into their hearts”. Jesus when asked which was the most important stated…loving the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul and also loving your neighbors as yourselves. So simple, all the 10 Commandments can be summed-up in these two. If each of us remembers Jesus’ words the world would not be the place it is today. Try starting each day with these words in mind and when that silly driver cuts you off or a friend lets you down, remember… not only does God love me and how lucky am I but not to do anything but love. Remember love is patient and kind and never jealous…. and endures all things.

Faithfully yours,

Gretchen S. Poliero, DRE

Sunday School

Sunday School classes meet after the children and teachers go to the Communion Rail. (Approx. 10:30 am.) The teachers will take the students back to the Parish Hall (1st Floor of the Parish House), where there are classes for pre-school to High School students. Students will receive snacks, participate in a prayer and songs relating to their lessons, then move onto their classrooms with their teachers. Teachers will bring their class promptly back to the auditorium at 11:15 am for pick-up of all students by their parents/guardians.

You can download a Sunday School Registration form (PDF) and drop off the completed form at the Church Office.

Adult Education

Immediately following the 9:30 am service, Adult Education will begin in the Parlor (1st Floor, Parish House) and end at 11:10 am so parents may pick-up their children in the auditorium.
